Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 11, 2026

GetPlugzz builds free Chrome extensions that are designed with privacy as a first principle. This policy explains what data our extensions do — and don't — collect.

Data we do NOT collect

Our extensions collect zero personal data. Specifically, we do not collect, transmit, store, or share:

How settings are stored

Some extensions store per-site preferences (for example, whether you've enabled JustCopy on a particular website). These preferences are stored locally in your browser using standard browser storage mechanisms (such as localStorage). This data never leaves your device and is never sent to any server.

No remote code

None of our extensions load or execute code from remote servers. All functionality is entirely contained within the extension package itself. We do not use analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or any third-party scripts inside our extensions.

No third-party data sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any user data with third parties — because we don't collect any to begin with. The donation links in our extensions open PayPal.me in a new tab; these are standard web links and are subject to PayPal's own privacy policy.

This website (getplugzz.com)

The GetPlugzz website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (pages visited, referral sources). Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser. We do not collect newsletter signups or account information beyond what you voluntarily submit. For details on Google's data practices, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change our data practices, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Since we collect no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
