Delete Pages From a PDF Free Online — and Rotate Them

A blank page at the end, a sideways scan, pages in the wrong order. Fix them in a minute, without installing anything or sending your file anywhere.

You have a PDF with a page that should not be in it: a blank page at the end, a cover sheet you do not want to share, a scan that went in sideways. You do not need to buy software, or send a private document to a stranger's website, to fix that.

What you can do in the Organize tab

Open GetPlugzz PDF Tools and pick the Organize tab. It shows every page of your PDF as a small picture, and you can:

  • Delete pages you do not want.
  • Rotate pages that are crooked or sideways, one at a time or several together.
  • Reorder pages by dragging them into a new place.

Then you save it, and you get a new PDF. Your original file is never touched.

How to delete pages from a PDF

  1. Open the tool. Go to getplugzz.com/pdf-tools and pick the Organize tab. No sign-up, no install.
  2. Drop in your PDF. One file at a time. The pages appear as small pictures, numbered in order.
  3. Delete one page: move your mouse over it and click the ✕ in the corner.
  4. Delete several pages: click each one you want to remove so it shows a tick, then press Delete selected. The line under the pages tells you how many are left, and how many are selected.
  5. Press Save PDF. The new file downloads on its own, named getplugzz_organized_ followed by a time stamp, and the tool tells you how many pages it has.

One rule: at least one page has to stay. If you try to delete them all, the tool tells you that would delete every page.

Need only a few pages? Do it the other way round: click the pages you want to keep so they show a tick, then press Keep only selected. Everything else is removed in one go. That is much quicker than deleting page by page when you want, say, 3 pages out of a 200-page file. Nothing is saved until you press Save PDF, and ↺ Reset all brings every page back.

How to rotate a PDF page (one, or several)

  • One page: move your mouse over it and click the ⟳ in the corner. Each click turns it a quarter turn clockwise, so three clicks turn it the other way.
  • Several pages: click the pages to select them, then press ⟲ Rotate all to turn them to the left, or ⟳ Rotate all to turn them to the right.

One detail worth knowing: the Rotate all buttons only turn the pages you selected. If you have not selected any page, they turn all of them. So to fix just the sideways scans in a stack, select those and rotate.

How to change the page order

Drag a page to where you want it. The number in its corner shows its new position. This is handy when a scanner took the pages in the wrong order, or when a chapter needs to move.

Does it hurt the quality?

No. When you press Save PDF, the tool builds a new file out of the pages you kept, as they are, with the rotation you set. It does not redraw the pages or turn them into pictures, so the text stays selectable and the images stay sharp. Only the small page previews you see on screen are pictures.

That is the difference from shrinking a file. If a PDF is too big, making it smaller can redraw the pages. Organizing never does.

Made a mistake?

Press Reset all. It brings back every page, in the original order, with no rotations. If you would rather start with a different file, press Remove PDF. Nothing is final until you press Save PDF, and even then your original stays as it was.

When you'd actually need this

  • A scan that came out upside down or sideways, so you have to turn your head to read it.
  • Blank pages a scanner added between the real ones.
  • A page you do not want to share, such as a cover sheet, a private note or an ad, before you send the file on.
  • Pages in the wrong order, for example after scanning a stack the wrong way round.
  • Joining several files, then removing the pages you do not need. Merge them first (see how to merge PDF files), then tidy the result here.

Good to know before you start

  • Rotate with nothing selected and every page turns. Select pages first to rotate only those.
  • The numbers on the thumbnails show the current position, not the original page number, so they change after you delete or move pages.
  • The tool will not delete every page. At least one page has to stay.
  • Your original file is not changed. Save PDF always creates a new file.

FAQ

No. Opening the file, showing the pages and building the new PDF all happen in your browser, on your own computer. Your document never goes to a server.

There is no step-by-step undo, but Reset all brings back every page in the original order with no rotations. And the original file on your computer is never changed, because the tool saves a new one.

Only if no page is selected. If you have clicked some pages so they show a tick, it turns just those. That makes it easy to fix only the crooked ones.

No. The pages are copied into the new file as they are, not redrawn, so the text stays selectable and the pictures stay as sharp as before. Only the pages you kept are in the new file, in the order and rotation you set.

No. At least one page has to stay. If you try to remove them all, the tool tells you that would delete every page.

One at a time. If you want one document made from several PDFs, merge them first with the Merge tab, then tidy up the result.

Yes. No account, no watermark on your file, and no limit on how many PDFs you fix.
